The Rio feels playful and zippy, with its lively engine and responsive handling. It comes with a standard 1.6L 4-cylinder engine that produces 130 horsepower and comes with front-wheel drive. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard, or you can upgrade to a 6-speed automatic. The car’s ride feels energetic and sporty, and its small size makes it quick and easy to maneuver. The hatchback version features identical seat measurements, but offers significantly more cargo space. With all the seats in use, there’s 17.4 ft3of cargo space behind the second row of seats. Fold those down flat, and you’ll have access to a total of 32.8 ft3 of cargo capacity.
