2018 Kia Sedona Review

2018 Kia Sedona Interior 

The Sedona can seat seven to eight passengers, depending on whether you choose to add a second-row center seat insert. Stain-resistant cloth upholstery is standard, and can stand up to muddy shoes, sticky fingers, and spills that are bound to happen on your trips around Plainfield, Indianapolis, and Avon.

The second row offers available lounge seats, which can recline completely, and come with footrests for a supremely comfortable ride—perfect for bringing the little ones on a long road trip.  If you’d like to add even more luxury to the van, there’s plenty of features to choose from, including leather upholstery, 8-way power adjustable front seats, heated front and second-row seats, and even a heated steering wheel.

Standard features in the cabin include a 5-inch touchscreen display with Bluetooth® connectivity and satellite radio, plus a rearview camera for simple and safe reversing, even in a crowded parking lot. Some unique offerings in the vehicle include an available, removable cargo-area flashlight and a cooled glove box.

2018 Sedona Interior Measurements 

Front headroom measures 39.8 inches, and legroom is 40.9 inches. In the second row, there’s 39.4 inches of headroom and a comfortable 41.1 inches of legroom, which is pretty massive.

Need to bring along the kids’ backpacks, sports equipment, and more? Behind the third row, there’s 33.9 ft3 of cargo space. Fold that row forward, and there’s 78.4 ft3 of cargo space behind the second row. The second row, too, can be folded upright to create a total of 142 ft3 of cargo capacity. For extra convenience, you can add the available hands-free power liftgate.

Kia Sedona Power and Performance

The Sedona’s strong 3.3L V6 engine generates 276 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed automatic transmission comes standard, and when properly equipped, this van can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

The minivan’s ride quality is smooth and comfortable, so if the baby is snoozing in the back seat, you don’t have to worry about road bumps disturbing the peace of the cabin. The van is also surprisingly agile and easy to maneuver, despite its size, and front-wheel drive is standard.
