The setup feels punchy when you need to accelerate as well, thanks in large part to an output of 201 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque. With the use of a DC fast charger, you can replenish 100 miles of range in just 30 minutes.
Keeping track of how much power you have left before a charge is required can be done with the standard 10.25-inch touchscreen display. The display offers split-screen capability and helpful insights, such as nearby charging stations and the current state of your charge limit.
In all, the 2022 Kia Niro EV supports the following charge levels:
- 120-volt Level 1 charger, equivalent to an outlet in your home
- 240-volt Level 2 charger, common in various public places
- 100-kilowatt DC fast charger, which can return 100 miles of range in 30 minutes or 80% of total range in just an hour and fifteen minutes

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection can stop your Kia vehicle to avoid an accident. Its sensors read the road in front of you, and if a collision seems likely and you fail to respond, the brakes will engage automatically.
Blind-Spot Collision Warning can send out either visual or audible alerts to let you know that another ride is in your blind spot as you attempt to change lanes. Some of the other systems you can look forward to having include:
