What Is Kia’s Accelerate the Good Program?
Kia cares so strongly about the communities and our nation that has given us so much. One of the ways we seek to give back to our Avon, Indianapolis, and Plainfield, IN, neighbors as well as the country as a whole, is through our Accelerate the Good program.

Helping Out Our Essential Friends
Since the start of the pandemic, frontline healthcare workers have been facing innumerable challenges, one of which is the shortage of key protective equipment. It’s crucial our cherished workers are staying safe, so Kia created Telluriders, which are employee volunteers who have been delivering face shields.
So far, we have delivered this helpful protection measure to over 60 hospitals across the nation, from Orange County to New York City and Georgia.
To keep up with the high demand for this product, we have even begun production of face shields at our Kia plant in West Point, GA. We have been producing 200,000 shields a month, and we have no plans of stopping.
Lending a Hand to Those in Need
What were some of the first steps you took when you heard news of the pandemic? Did you start staying indoors and washing your hands more? Did you buy a box of face masks for you and your kids to keep you protected in public?
All of these actions require access to the right materials. For example, how can a homeless youth shelter in place when they have no place to call home? Additionally, employment at this time can be a challenge.
To help keep citizens protected in this crucial time, Kia’s Accelerate the Good program is donating one million dollars to homeless youth.

Not only are we helping workers and youth all over the country, we’re valuing our customers as well. Many service centers are remaining open at Kia dealers, so you can keep your Kia running smoothly. We are following all CDC recommendations to keep you and our workers as safe as possible.
We also have established programs to assist you with auto service payments to make sure your lifestyle needs are met during this time.
